Doradilla: “A Quiet Bloom”

As the counter part to Siempre Viva, Doradilla is compact and has a dormant form. While Siempre Viva embodies openness and growth, Doradilla reflects the plant’s innate resilience—its ability to conserve
life, energy, and vitality until the moment it reawakens.The project stands as a testament to architectural elegance, nature’s adaptability, and the harmony of sustainable urban living.

Architectual Concept

The building’s grid-like exoskeleton mirrors the folded geometry of the Selaginella plant in its dormant state.This strong yet flowing framework creates a sense of order and rhythm, softened by layers of greenery that weave through its structure.The terraces are designed to hold pockets of local plants, offering spaces for residents to connect with nature and enjoy moments of quiet.
The façade’s modular design allows for light, shade, and ventilation to be optimized, supporting a comfortable living environment. The thoughtful balance of solid and open forms creates a visual dialogue between protection and openness, much like the plant itself. Siempre Viva celebrates openness and connection, with its terraces designed as private gardens outdoor as extensions of living spaces.

Program and Design Features

With approximately 15,000m² of residential space, Doradilla offers modern homes designed with flexibility and comfort in mind. At street level, a commercial plinth brings life to the surrounding area with cafés, shops, and essential services, enhancing the experience of the wider community.
The building layout prioritizes balance—connecting private outdoor spaces with communal areas. Green terraces at every level provide a natural retreat for residents, while the ground-level landscaping encourages interaction and a sense of belonging.
